I agree it is shocking at Tullamarine. I thought things were on the up when the new cafe opened near Krispy Kremes and the Newsagent in the domestic section but it's just as foul as the rest of the places.

Urgh, you should see Hobart airport, shocking. There are no words to describe it. It is actually so awful, I wish there was a McDonalds, just for some minute degree of quality. And that's saying something.

I agree Niki. Such a captive audience, and I would think with money to spend - people are mostly either on holidays or on corporate expenses.

I had to spend quite some time at Indianapolis (?!) airport in the US Midwest, of all places, last year and even they had really quite decent food: like Sydney, they had a number of outposts of well-known, popular city restaurants.
I reckon James Packer should get involved at Melbourne Airport and do there what he's done with the dining options at Crown. I reckon the guarantee of clientele numbers would be even higher in number and more reliable than at the casino. It's a captive audience. What do you think?
