Strange. <br /><br />The bread is normally in a bag to keep it warm and fresh, so I don't think it's a space saving device. Les Boucheries Parisienne (South Yarra) does the same thing. I was amazed at its value and, at the time, it featured my first taste of Tunisian coucous!
